Delete a Presto User

To delete a Presto user:

1. Select Security, then select Presto Users.

2. In the Presto Users table, select View for the specific user.

3. Select Danger Zone, then select Delete.

If the Presto user is the only user associated with a Presto cluster, that Presto user cannot be deleted.

You can delete a Presto user even if they are part of one or more active clusters. Before deleting a Presto user, be sure that user is no longer needed. You can always re-create and re-add Presto users, but this can be tedious if the Presto user is needed for a large number of clusters.
