Presto Users Overview

Presto users are centrally defined and can be re-used across Presto clusters. This reusability means that cluster creators do not have to recreate identical users in multiple clusters. External principals, such as a business analyst, can maintain a single identity across multiple Ahana-managed Presto clusters.

Presto users are persisted across Ahana Compute Plane upgrades and recreations.

To see all currently-defined Presto users, select Security, then select Presto Users.

The Presto Users table presents all currently-defined Presto users in alphabetical order.

Ahana-managed Presto users must have unique usernames.
